Sevierville has a real network of city greenways—not ten separate mountain hikes. These routes are where you go for a river breeze, a family walk, an easy ride, or a peaceful hour close to town.
Downtown riverfront
West Prong Greenway
Best for: River scenery, birds, history, and an easy connection to City Park
Follow the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River past Paine Memorial Park, a gazebo, boardwalk sections, and the McMahan Indian Mound. A covered bridge connects this route with the City Park loop.
Sevierville City Park
City Park Walking Trail
Best for: Families, an easy loop, and a no-road-crossing greenway connection
A short paved loop through City Park that links directly to the West Prong Greenway by covered bridge. It is an easy add-on when you want a little more walking without moving the car.
Middle Creek
Middle Creek Greenway
Best for: A practical paved walk close to the municipal area
This city route follows Middle Creek and helps connect the municipal area toward Veterans Boulevard. It works well for a steady walk, an easy bike ride, or a simple outdoor break.
City Hall & Community Center
Municipal Complex Greenway
Best for: A quick walk with landscaping and river views
Loop around the Community Center, Police Station, and City Hall on a paved route with landscaped sections beside the river. It is short, central, and easy to fit into a busy day.
Sevierville to Pigeon Forge
Veterans Boulevard Greenway
Best for: A longer paved route for walking, running, or biking
This wide paved greenway travels alongside Veterans Boulevard toward Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Unlike the compact park loops, it gives you room for a longer out-and-back adventure.
Kodak
Northview Optimist Park Loop
Best for: A short, lighted neighborhood walk
A compact loop at Northview Optimist Park in the Kodak area. It is more of a simple park walk than a scenic hike, but it belongs in the city greenway collection.
Along West Prong
Burchfiel Grove & Arboretum
Best for: Trees, learning, and a slower nature walk
Turn part of the West Prong outing into a self-guided tree walk. Burchfiel Grove and Arboretum identifies dozens of tree species and gives families another reason to pause and notice what is growing beside the river.
